Tamil youth missing in Mannar

Theeparanjan Dias, 27, a father of one child and a resident of Ward No: 7 in Pesalai in Mannar district, has been reported disappeared since November 17, according to complaint lodged with the Mannar Regional Office of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRC), officials at the Rights office said.

Theeparanjan, a trader, had left home around 5 p.m. to Mannar town on Friday. Thereafter he failed to return home, said his wife eighteen year old Mary Salini in her complaint to HRCSL.

She has also made a complaint with the Talaimannar Police, sources said.
