TNA salutes Muthukumar’s sacrifice of life to the cause of Eelam Tamils

“Tamil National Alliance (TNA) wishes to express its deepest grief and condolence to Muthukumar’s family and the people of Tamil Nadu along with the entire Tamils of the world for having laid his live in supreme sacrifice in support of the Eelam Tamils,” the message of condolence released by TNA said.

The excerpt of the message is as follows:

“The self-immolation of the young journalist Mr. Muthukumar from Ko’laththoor in Tamil Nadu Thursday in front of Shastri Bhavan, the Indian Central Government’s Chennai Head Office is a supreme sacrifice made for the cause of the liberation of Eelam Tamils that ought to be esteemed foerever by all Tamils.

The Sri Lanka government has unleashed a genocidal war on the Eelam Tamils who have been denied their rights for the last 61 years, suffering as slaves, refugees and orphans, with the sole intention of annihilating them completely. The emotional upsurge of the 70 million Tamils in Tamil Nadu demanding Sri Lanka government to stop its war of extermination on the Tamils and their arising to save the Eelam Tamils hearten the Eelam Tamils and the expatriate Tamils.

We wish to convey our deepest condolence to the bereaving family of Muthukumar and the people of Tamil Nadu while expressing our sincere homage to Muthukumar for his supreme sacrifice in support of the suffering Eelam Tamils.”
