Private lorry hijacked at gun point in Batticaloa

Unidentified gunmen hijacked a private owned Tipper lorry returning from Vaharai to Oddamavadi after business transactions, near the Oddamavadi bridge, an area under Valaichenai police in Batticaloa, Sunday evening, Police said.

Earlier, in the beginning of May, unidentified gunmen hijacked the Vaharai Multi Purpose Society lorry, sources said.
