Execution-style killings continue in Jaffna

Two young men riding in a motorbike were shot dead by unidentified persons riding another motorbike in Urumparai, around 3:30 p.m., Friday, bringing the total number of killings in Jaffna to eight, during the 24 hours, ending 6 p.m., Friday.

The killings have taken place at 'Moonru Kinathady' in Urumparai in Valikamam East.

The victims have not been identified yet. The bodies were lying at the scene til late Friday evening, sources said.
