Two Tamil youths shot dead in Trincomalee

Unidentified armed persons shot and killed two Tamil youths in Trincomalee district in two separate incidents. The youth killed in east port town Sunday night around 9 p.m. has been identified as Jeyaratnam Jesuthadasan, 27, and the youth killed at Serunuwara Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. was identified as Nadarajah Inthiran, 23, police sources said.

Inthiran was found lying with gunshot injuries at the Hali Oluwa junction in Seruvila division. Serunuwara Police immediately removed him to the Serunuwara district hospital where he succumbed to injuries.

The body of Jeyaratnam Jesuthadasan with gun shot injuries was found along St.Antony's Lane in Trincomalee town. The body was handed over to the Trincomalee general hospital.
