Transit centre for war affected Muttur children[TamilNet, Saturday, 19 July 2003, 18:08 GMT]Foundation stone was laid Friday for the transit centre for the protection and welfare of children under eighteen years affected by war at Kadatkaraichcenai in the Liberation Tigers held Muttur east in Trincomalee, sources said.
LTTE Trincomalee district women political head Ms Kaaronja hoisted the Tamileelam national flag. Thereafter they observed two minutes silence for those who sacrificed their lives in the Tamil liberation struggle, sources said.
