Mr. Yasushi Akashi, Representative of Government of Japan, Mr. Akio Suda, Ambassador of Japan, Mr. Kenji Miyata, Second Secretary and Mr. Hideaki Hatanaka, Foreign Affairs Ministry official, visited Kilinochchi and met the LTTE delegation that comprised of Mr. S. P. Thamilchelvan, Political Head of the LTTE, Mr. B. Nadesan, Tamileelam Police chief, Mr. S. Puleedevan, Director of LTTE Peace Secretariat and Ms. B. Selvy of LTTE's Peace Secretariat.
