UNF to send LTTE proposals to all parties

The Norwegian ambassador in Sri Lanka, Mr. Hans Brattskar, Friday evening handed over the interim administrative structure proposals from the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) to the Constitutional Affairs Minister, Professor G.L.Peiris, at the latter's official residence in Colombo on his return from Kilinochchi, media sources said
Minister Peiris later said that a copy of the LTTE response to the Sri Lankan government 's interim administrative structure proposals would be sent to the President, Ms.Chandrika Kumaratunga, through the Prime Minister's office. Copies of LTTE proposals would also be sent to leaders of all political parties, media sources said. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe will hand over a copy of the LTTE proposals to the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress leader and Minister, Mr.Rauff Hakeem in London, England. Mr.Wickremasinghe left Colombo Thursday night for London on the way to an official visit to the United States of America at the special invitation of the President George W.Bush, sources said. Mr.Peiris further said his government would issue a statement Saturday after studying the LTTE proposals.
