Four sea tigers memorialized in Kopay Heroes' Cemetary

Memorial stones for four sea tigers killed during an incident in International waters on 27 June 2003 were ceremonially laid in Kopay Heroes Cemetary Monday media sources in Jaffna said.
A framed picture of Black Sea Tiger Lt.Col.Yalini (Nagaratnam Niranjani) was taken in a procession from her home in Sankanai to the Sivapragasa Vidyalayam. The Head of Women Political Wing of Sea Tigers, Poorani and several others paid tribute to Lt.Col.Yalini.
Black Sea Tiger, Capt.Eelavannan's (Surendran Babu), picture frame was taken from his home in Thirunelveli to Bharati Community Center where Secretary of Nallur District Resurgence Movement, P.Balakumar presided a memorial event.
Head of Jaffna district Administration, Thamil maravan lit the ceremonial lamp. Director of Heroes Cemetaries, Pon. Thiyagam, and Jaffna district Head of LTTE Political Wing, Chiliyan spoke.
Sea Tiger, Major.Kathirovian (Selvan Gnaneswaran) memorial event was hel at the Punnalaikadduvan Mathiyodai Community Center. Head of Sea Tiger Heroes Cemetaries, Sutharsan paid tribute to Maj.Kathiroviyan.
Sea Tiger Col.Amutham (alias Eelapriya, Balasubramaniam Suhanthini) was euligized at Valvettithurai Hindu Girls College. Head of Political Wing of Vadamaradchy Sea Tigers, Anbalagan, presided the event.
Head of Vadamarachy East LTTE Political Wing, Theepan, lit the common flame. Secretary of Vadamarachy Fishermen Union, Sooriyamoorthy, Head of Vadamaradchy LTTE Political Wing, Kalyani and Valvai Hindu College Principal Nagulambigai spoke.
Following these ceremonies memorial stones were laid in Koppai Cemetary, according to reports.
