Solheim, NESHOR delegation to arrive in Geneva for talks

Norwegian special peace envoy Mr. Erik Solheim is expected to arrive in Geneva Sunday morning to meet the Constitutional Affairs Committee of the Liberation Tigers which is touring European countries, sources close to the delegation told TamilNet.
Members of the LTTE's Constitutional Affairs committee led by Head of the LTTE's Political Wing S.P.Thamilchelvan and comprising of Head of Thamileelam Police, Mr.P.Nadesan, Head of Judiciary, Mr.Para, Secretary General of LTTE Peace Secretariat, Mr.Pulithevan, and Amparai-Batticaloa Political Head Mr.Kausalyan, joined by Chief Negotiator Mr. Anton Balasingham and his wife Adele Balasingam, are meeting for the second day today with expatriate constitutional and legal experts, LTTE sources said. Meanwhile, several members of the NorthEast Secretariat on Human Rights (NESHOR) headed by Father Karunaratnam are arriving in Geneva Saturday evening. The NESHOR delegation is expected to meet with several European organizations involved in rights issues, sources said.
