TNA MPs to hold discussion on Jaffna education

Jaffna district Tamil National Alliance (TNA) parliamentarians are to conduct discussions with teachers, principals and education officers at the zonal level on education and administrative problems in Jaffna district, TNA sources said.

Jaffna district is divided into five education zones, Jaffna, Thenamarachchi, Vadamarachchi, Valigamam and Theevagam, each having a zonal director of education, sources said.

First of such conferences is scheduled to be held on November 12 at Jaffna Vembadi Girls' College for Jaffna education zone, TNA parliamentarian Mr.Mavai Senathirajah said.

TNA parliamentarians will also brief teachers and principals in each education zone about the current political situation in Sri Lanka, sources said.
