Kodikamam residents hold human chain agitation

Several hundreds of Tamil civilians Friday participated in the third phase human chain protest held at Kodikamam junction in Thenmaradchchi division in Jaffna district urging the Government of Sri Lanka (GOSL) to resume peace talks with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) without any more delay, sources said.



Protestors carried placards condemning the attitude of GoSL and its actions to prepare for another war against Tamils.

Jaffna district Tamil National Alliance (TNA) parliamentarians Mr.S.Gajendran, Mr.K.Sivanesan and Ms Pathmini Sithamparanathan also participated in the protest, which commenced around 10 a.m. and continued for an hour, sources said.
