Rescue workers find more bodies in Mullaitivu, Vadamaradchy East

Rescue workers in Mullaitivu and Vadamaradchy East areas discovered ten more bodies on Sunday, officials in Vanni said. Five of the bodies were cremated immediately as they were badly decomposed and the other five were taken to a storage facility for identification.

Twenty three bodies were recovered on the New Year's day from a prawn farm in Mullaitivu.

Members involved in rescue operations believe that there may be more bodies in Mullaitivu and Vadamaradchy regions.
