Jeyarajah couple found biological parents of Baby 81

DNA test results that reached Kalmunai District Magistrate Court Monday revealed that Mr. Jeyarajah and Mrs. Jenita Jeyarajah, the only couple to appear before the court, as biological parents of the baby, according Mr. M. S. M. Nazeer, Registrar of the court. The District Court has informed the results to the hospital, he added. The parents who are looking forward to reunite with the baby said that the baby, named Abilash, was born on 19th of October 2004 at Kalmunai Base Hospital.

The registrar said that he will request parents to come to the court on Wednesday at 10.30 a.m.

Dr. Gopal Muhunthan at the hospital said that the hospital has also heard the news from the registrar that the DNA results were positive. The official documents are yet to be received, he said.

Medical Superindentant Dr. K. Muruganandan from Kalmunai Base Hospital is expected to bring the baby and hand over to parents on Wednesday at the District Court, sources at the hospital said.
