TRO provides temporary housing for Pottuvil Muslims

Tamil Rehabilitation Organization (TRO), an NGO registered with the Government of Sri Lanka, has funded building temporary shelters for seventy tsunami affected Muslim families in Kalappukkatu village in Pottuvil, Amparai district, officials said.






In addition, as part of TRO's continuing effort to promote self-employment help, Mr V Rajendran, Amparai district co-ordinator for TRO, handed over sewing machines to women in Amparai Thursday.

Additional training classes in dress making have also been organized according to TRO officials.
