Solheim to meet LTTE leaders in Kilinochchi Wednesday

Norwegian Minister of International Development and peace envoy, Mr. Erik Solheim, will be traveling to Kilinochchi on Wednesday to meet with the leadership of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), sources from Kilinochchi said.
The Norwegian delegation participating in the meeting, according to informed sources in Colombo, will comprise of, Hans Brattskar, Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Mr. Odd Naustdal Deputy Director from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Mr. Sondre Bjotvedt, an Executive Officier from the Norwegian MFA and Second Seceraty to the Norwegian Ambassador, Mr. Tom Knappskog. The Minister will be traveling in a Sri Lanka Airforce (SLAF) Helicopter facilitated by the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission officials, and Norwegian Security officers would be on board, sources in Colombo said.
