TNA MPs to boycott parliament proceedings[TamilNet, Monday, 13 February 2006, 11:37 GMT]Mavai Senathirajah, Tamil National Alliance (TNA) parliamentarian for Jaffna district, told TamilNet Monday that all TNA parliamentarians, as part of the on-going protest against escalating violence in NorthEast, will abstain from participating in parliamentatry proceedings this week. Parliament is scheduled to discuss extending the Emergy Regulations Tuesday. Tamil National Alliance MPs staged protests at the chamber of the Sri Lankan parliament against the killings of Tamil intellectuals and Government's inability to conduct investigations into the crimes, had walked out of the Sri Lankan Parliament on the 01st February in protest aginst the kidnappings in the East.
