Rehabilitation centre for drug addicts opened in Mannar

A rehabilitation centre for drug and alcohol addicts was opened at Thottaveli in Erukalampiddy division in Mannar district Monday by Reverend Father A. Victor Soosai, Mannar Diocese Head. The centre was established due to the sustained efforts taken by Mannar Bishop Rt.Rev.Rayappu Joseph.

Mannar Government Agent V.Visuvalingam was the chief guest at the event.

Ms Stanley de Mel, Mannar Divisional Secretary and Rev.Fr.Thevarajah were also present at the event as special guests, sources said.
