Wickremasinghe to visit China

Mr.Ranil Wickremasinghe, leader of the main opposition United National Party (UNP) is to pay a four-day official visit to China commencing from May 11. A group of UNP parliamentarians will also accompany Mr.Wickremasinghe on an official invitation from the Chinese government, UNP headquarters said.

UNP delegation led by Mr.Wickremasinghe is expected to brief the Chinese government leaders about the security and political situation in Sri Lanka and problems faced by countries in the Asian region, UNP sources said.
