Katunayaka Night Ban on civilian flights

The ban on night flights to and from Katunayake international airport in Sri Lanka starts Thursday. No passenger aircrafts will be allowed to land or take off from Katunayake international airport between 10.30 pm. and 4 a.m., Civil Aviation Authority sources said.

Civil Aviation Authority has also prohibited amphibious planes to land in reservoirs in the south, and imposed restrictions on domestic flights within Sri Lanka for security reasons.
