Tamil youth found dead in Kandy

The body of a Tamil youth was recovered from a drain in Peradeniya, Kandy district Monday. His relatives have identified the victim as Ananda Rajendran, 28, of Udaperadeniya, Peradeniya Police sources said.

The Kandy Magistrate visited the site where the body was found ordered post-mortem examination.

Meanwhile, the police began investigation find out whether the youth had been murdered or died due to natural cause, sources said.
