Abductions increase in Colombo

Four Tamils were abducted by unknown persons at Peliyagoda, Kotahena in Colombo and in Negombo. One of them was later released at Peliyagoda. Relatives of those abducted have lodged complaints with the respective police stations.

Thambiraja was abducted on April 19th night around 8.25 p.m. at Kotahena by unknown persons came in a white colored van. Mohandas Wijeranee was abducted Sunday night at Negombo by a group of persons arrived in a van when she was walking along with her husband, media sources said.

Two youths were abducted from Peliyagoda on April 19th night by unknown persons. Later one of them was released blindfolded.
