Mannaar Tamil youth abducted in Puththa'lam

A seventeen year old Tamil youth, Kathirkaamar Vikneswaran, of Mannaar abducted by unidentified armed persons arrived in a white van from a refugee camp in Naagavil area in Puththa'lam police division, is still missising, sources in Puththa'lam said.

However, the two Muslims persons, father and his son, Mohideen Bawa, 38, and Ali Asim, 17, who were abducted along with Vikneswaran were released next day Monday afternoon at Paalaavi.

Vikneswaran had come from Mannaar and was residing in the said refugee camp located in Naagavil Rasool Nakar in Puththa'lam when he was abducted.
