Vanni Citizen's Committee requests help

The Vanni Citizen's Committee has submitted a memorandum to the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Bishop of Mannar asking them to find out the whereabouts of 14 civilians who went missing after they were arrested by the Ranagosha security forces on March 18.

Sources in the Vanni said that these civilians were arrested at Ilanthaimoddai while the Sri Lankan Army was moving into the area.

The Citizen's Committee has asked the ICRC and the Bishop to inform the relatives of the missing persons of the missing persons whereabouts
