Armed men keep six girls in unconscious state in Batticaloa

A grade 10 student of Ka'luthaava'lai Tamil Maha Viththiyaalayam, who managed to escape from abductors has revealed that she had seen six girl students in unconscious state in the place where she was held captive, Police said.
The girl, P.Niranjala, was alleged to have been abducted by unidentified persons who arrived in a black coloured van in front of the school escaped
from their clutch Wednesday morning, according to a complaint she made to the
Ka'luvaagnchikkudi Police.
Ms. Niranjala escaped while she was held by abductors and rushed to nearby
school, Eruvil Kannaki Viththiyaalayam. Later, she went to the Ka'luvaagnchikkudi Police with Mr. Kailasapillai, the principal of
the school and lodged a complaint.
