Sri Lanka PM to visit China

Sri Lanka Prime Minister D. M. Jayaratne is scheduled to leave on a six day official visit to China Friday. This is his first visit abroad after assuming duties as Prime Minister. He is expected to hold talks with Chinese government officials strengthening existing diplomatic and bilateral ties between the two countries.

Jayaratne is expected to return on July 21, PM office said.
