People's revolution has started - Karikalan

Karikalan, the deputy Leader of the Political Wing of the LTTE said at a May day rally held at Mallavi Mahavidiyalayam in the Wanni area that the Tamil people were determined to continue the liberation struggle though they live under immense pressure due to economic embargo and other difficulties.
He added that large number of Tamils were joining the liberation struggle. The people's revolution has started as expected by the Tamil national leader. Meanwhile,in the Batticaloa district at Tiger controlled Paduvankarai area May day rally and procession organised by the Consortium of Non-Governmental Organisations were held on Saturday evening. May day processions commenced from Porativu, Palugamam,Vavunativu and Ayithiamalai arrived at the Kokaddicholai Thanthonreeswarar Temple grounds. Later a public meeting presided by Mr.S.Ahileswaran, Chairman of the consortium was held. Political Secretary of the Tigers for Batticaloa- Amparai, Mr.Visu and Tiger Women wing leader Shailaja, senior member of the Tigers,Mr. Ramanan and several others spoke.
