Governor's mobile service goes to Jaffna

The North East Governor's third administrative mobile secretariat is scheduled to be held in the Jaffna district shortly. The Governor has asked the Presidential Secretariat to take steps to arrange special transport facilities for provincial officials to visit Jaffna in this regard.

The North East Provincial Council's Chief Secretary, Mr.G.Kirushnamoorthy, said that the Governor had decided to conduct the third administrative mobile secretariat in Jaffna district.

If suitable transport arrangements were not made available for provincial officials to go to Jaffna, alternative steps would be taken to have the third Governor's Mobile Secretariat in the Batticaloa district.

The first Governor's administrative mobile secretariat was held at Ampara and the second was held at Vavuniya last month.
