Five LTTE casualties -VoT

The Voice of Tigers (VoT) radio said this morning that five Liberation Tigers were killed on Sunday, June 13, in three separate incidents in the northern Vanni region.

According to the radio following three members of the Liberation Tigers died in a confrontation with the Sri Lankan Army at Siraddikulam in the Mannar district


Sivakeerthi (Mylvaganam Arulanantham, Batticaloa)
Kulaventhan (Vallipuram Pushparasa, Batticaloa)
Suthanthiran (Ganeshamoorthy Balachandran, Batticaloa)

Another LTTE member, 2nd Lt. Alagarasan (Kumarasamy Kumar, Kandy), was killed in an ambush by the Sri Lankan Army at Paranthan, while Thavaraj (Thangarathinam Yogarajah, Batticaloa) died in an accident at Periyamadhu, the radio said.
