SLAF officer killed in Mankulam

A Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) officer was killed when the Liberation Tigers attacked the forward defence lines (FDLs) in Mankulam last night around 7 p.m., said sources.

The body of the SLAF officer, V.K.Prema Samantha (24), has been brought to the Vavuniya hospital.

Sri Lankan Army sources said the attack was repulsed.
