School girl wounded in SLA shelling

Paransothy Mohanarubi, a 15 year old school girl was seriously wounded when the Sri Lanka Army stationed at Kaddaiparichchan camp fired shells towards the Kaddakarachcheni in the Muttur area, about 20 km. south of Trincomalee yesterday evening, residents said.
She is a student of the Chennayoor Central College. The injured girl was admitted to the Muttur hospital on Saturday night, hospital sources said. The SLA started firing artillery shells towards the surrounding areas following an attack by the Liberation Tigers on the Kaddaiparichchan camp earlier today sources said. A SLA soldier was wounded in the attack said SLA sources. The injured soldier was first admitted to the Muttur hospital and later transferred to Trincomalee, the sources added.
