NPC Minister walks out as SL Governor ditches CM's recommendations on SLAS transfers

The occupying unitary state of genocidal Sri Lanka is bent on curbing the powerless Northern Provincial Council from carrying out its work through deploying the colonial Governor, who is controlling the army of SLAS officials serving the NPC in various positions. Be it a military governor or a civilian governor — regardless of the person being Sinhala Catholic or Tamil-speaking — it is the role of the SL Governor coming under the direct control of Colombo, which is causing headache to the elected Chief Minister who want to exercise the powers vested in him. The Tamil criticism target the underlying paradigm, commented Tamil political activists in Jaffna after witnessing the recent administrative disputes taking place between Justice C.V. Wigneswaran and Reginald Cooray, the SL Governor to North.
Given the extent of Sinhala militarisation in North, the provincial governors, the district level Government Agents, and the divisional secretaries, who are all installed by the Colombo government, have to play into the hands of the occupying Sinhala military's psychological operations and the agenda of Sinhala Buddhist extremist Establishment.
Had there been some willingness on the part of Colombo government to cooperate with the provincial government, a lot could be achieved even with the limited powers of the NPC, is an argument often heard, especially after C.V. Wigneswaran becoming the chief minister. The thinking is not only logically false, but it is also making the people believe that the provincial council as something substantial. The paradigm is a farce originating from the powerful forces that uphold the Colombo-centric system, the political observers said.
It is the external Establishments, engaged in psychological cold-wars among themselves, that uphold the configuration of the unitary system on the island.
Until the Eezham Tamils rechallenge the paradigm, there will be no room for willingness on the part of Colombo government regardless of the personalities involved in the game. The provincial council will not be able to implement anything substantially meaningful among the people, the observers further commented.
The unitary state and its collaborators have been blocking NPC Chief Minister and his ministers through the army of SLAS officers who have no other option than serving the SL State.
Justice Wigneswaran, annoyed by the continued ignorance and bureaucratic harassments from the office of Reginald Cooray, went to the extent of visiting the latter in Colombo while he was taking rest due to a brief illness. Although the move was taken as a strong message and a single was resolve, the Governor is continuing to ditch the recommendations coming from the Chief Minister.
On Wednesday, NPC Education Minister K. Sarweswaran who attended a meeting with Mr Cooray on behalf of the Chief Minister had to walk out as the SL Governor completely ignored the recommendations of transfers/appointments of SLAS personnel in the NPC system. Cooray was coming up with a list of his own, Mr Sarwesaran said.
