Complaints of intimidation

A request made by Mr.P.Selvarajah, Member of Parliament for the Batticaloa district that security personnel should not travel in vehicles used by civilians, is to be taken up for discussion in the Anti Harassment Committee meeting on Monday, sources said.

In the meantime, the Divisional Secretary of Eravur has lodged a complaint to the Anti-Harassment Committee that people of Kaluvankerni village are being harassed and intimidated by the security forces and an auxiliary force of the army, the Razik group.
