Two skulls in shallow grave

Two human skulls were recovered from a pit in a compound behind the Kopay Christian College in Jaffna this morning sources said.
The two skulls were recovered when the owner was digging a pit to plant a coconut seedling, sources said. The owner of the land has reported the discovery to the Grama Sevaka Officer, Kopay North, sources said. The Sri Lanka Army (SLA) has a camp at this college compound. The environs of the college is now declared as mined areas the sources said. Meanwhile SLA sources said troops recovered a body of a youth, believed to be between 20 and 25, at Puththur junction yesterday evening around 4.30 p.m. yesterday. The SLA said they recovered a grenade near the body. Elsewhere in Jaffna two youths have been reported missing to the government-funded Human Rights Commission (HRC). HRC sources said Yogaratnam Puvitharan,18, of Mirusuvil and Ratnasingham Sreetharan,14, of Kachchai road have been reported missing at the Commission's office by their relatives.
