EPDP appointed Jaffna polling agent

The ruling People's Alliance (PA) has appointed the Eelam People's Democratic Party (EPDP) as its polling agent in Jaffna, for the forthcoming presidential elections scheduled for 21 December said sources.

douglass_devananda_2-p.jpgPA is the only party which has so far nominated a polling agent.

Sources in Jaffna said EPDP cadres were seen putting up posters of PA's presidential candidate, President Chandrika Kumaratunge, in the northern town today.
