Sitharthan says PLOTE is confident

The PLOTE began its election campaign yesterday in Pt. Pedro, for the forth coming election for the local Government bodies. The organisation held several pocket meetings there.

Meanwhile PLOTE began its campaign in Chavkachcheri today where the organisation held several meetings, said PLOTE sources.

The PLOTE leader Mr. Tharmalingam Sitharthan told TamilNet that his organisation is confident of convincing people in Jaffna that they can provide a better local Government administration than other contesting groups, based on the experience in running Vavunya Urban Council.
