PM to meet TNA over government cease-fire violations

The Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mr.Ranil Wickremasinghe has invited the leaders of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) for talks on June 19 at the Parliamentary complex. The invitation was sent to Mr.R.Sampanthan, the leader of the TNA parliamentary group.

The chiefs of the armed forces and the head of the Police are also expected to participate at this conference, which is to be attended by the TNA leaders, authoritative sources said.

Problems related to full implementation of the cease-fire agreement is expected to be discussed at this meting, TNA sources said.
