Workshop for Primary Teachers held in Batticaloa

A resource guide workshop for primary teachers in the Batticaloa district commenced Monday at the Sarvodaya Training Center in Sathurukondan. Forty primary teachers from the Batticaloa zonal district are participating at the workshop, which will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday, sources said.

Similar workshops will be held for the Kalkuda zonal district on April 21, 22 and for the Paddiruppu zonal district on April 28, 29.

The LTTE’s political division head, Mr. Thurai, led the workshop. The primary education director, Ms. Sreenivasan, Sarvodaya district coordinator, Mr. E.L.A. Kareem, and other education officials participated at the workshop.
