Vignarajah warned the officials of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) that failure to produce, Nepolean, the military head of the Eelam Peoples Democratic Party (EPDP) who is a key suspect in the Nirmalarajan murder case, will result in the court taking disciplinary action against the CID, local press in Jaffna said. In a report submitted by Ranjit De Silva, head of Jaffna CID, when the case was taken up in court Friday, it was stated that the investigations have not been completed on the 9mm handguns surrendered by the EPDP cadres to the Sri Lanka military commanders in Jaffna.
