Canadian Envoy meets LTTE’s Eastern leaders

The Canadian High-commissioner in Sri Lanka, Ms. Valerie Raymond, met with a group of LTTE leaders in the Eastern province led by Senior Commander Col. Karuna at the Karadiyanaru guest house on Friday afternoon for more than an hour.

Associated with Col. Karuna at the meeting were special commander for Batticaloa-Ampara, Mr. T. Ramesh, political division head Mr. Kousalyan, Special women’s commander Ms. Nilavini and Head of the educational unit, Mr. Varathan. Sri Lankan government officials also participated.
