LTTE submits IA proposals to Norwegian Ambassador

Mr. S. P. Thamilchelvan, Head of the Political wing of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) Friday submitted the Interim Administration (IA) proposals to the Norwegian Ambassador in Sri Lanka, Mr. Hans Brattskar, sources in Kilinochchi said.
The Norwegian Ambassador received the proposal at the LTTE's Peace Secretariat at about 11:30 a.m. today, the sources said. Mr. Brattskar arrived in Kilinochchi by SLA special aircraft and returned to Colombo the same day with the LTTE proposals, sources said. The proposals are scheduled to be submitted to the Government of Sri Lanka today evening. The UNF government of Sri Lanka is to issue a brief press statement on Saturday morning at 10.30 a.m. as a response to the LTTE proposals, according to Cabinet spokesman, Minister G.L.Peiris. Mr.Thamilchelvan is to reveal the contents of the LTTE's response at a specially summoned press conference scheduled to be held on Saturday at the LTTE political secretariat in Kilinochchi, sources said.
