[TamilNet, Wednesday, 12 November 2003, 16:01 GMT]
The monthly meeting between the Liberation Tigers and Sri Lanka’s Special Task Force (STF) in the Amparai district, scheduled to be held Wednesday, was postponed indefinitely as a result of the current political and constitutional crisis in Sri Lanka, sources said.

The Akkaraipattu coordinator of the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM), Mr. H. Mohamed Rasheed, said Wednesday that the meeting was postponed indefinitely.

Similarly, the meetings between the LTTE and Muslim representatives at district and zonal levels to discuss Tamil-Muslim land issues were also postponed, Mr. Rasheed said.
