Balasingham's "Viduthalai" to be introduced to Trinco audience

The Arts and Cultural Division of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) has organized a public meeting in Trincomalee on May 23 to introduce the book " Viduthalai"(Liberation), a compilation of political and philosophical articles written by LTTE theoretician and political strategist Mr.Anton Balasingham, to the Trincomalee audience, sources said

The meeting will be held at the Trincomalee Town Hall Sunday evening with the LTTE's Trincomalee district political head, Mr.C. Elilan, in the chair.

The LTTE's Arts and Cultural head, Poet Puthuvai Ratnathurai, will introduce the book to the Trincomalee audience. The head of the Thamileelam Resurgence Forum, Mr.Umainesan, will hand over the first copy of the book to the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) parliamentary group leader Mr.R.Sampanthan and a special copy to the Trincomalee district parliamentarian Mr.K.Thurairatnasingham.

Three critics, Messrs K.Sivapalan, S.Thandayuthapani and R.Tharmarajah, will make the addresses of appreciation. LTTE Trincomalee district political head for women wing, Miss Kaaronja, will make the welcome address, sources said.
