Award to arrest culprits in Bollywood grenade attack

Sri Lanka's Police Wednesday announced an award of 20 million Sri Lankan rupees for informants who give lead to the arrest of the main culprit in the Bollywood grenade attack that killed two persons and injured several while the concert of a Indian troupe led by actor Sharuk Khan was in progress in Colombo Race Course grounds on December 11th Saturday night, sources said.
Mr.Chandra Fernando, Inspector General of Police (IGP) said a breakthrough in the investigation into the grenade attack could be expected shortly. The announcement of an award would expedite the arrest of the culprit, Police sources said. More than sixty people including private security guards have been questioned up to now but no arrests were made yet. But the investigators had gathered vital information, Police said
