Village Development discussions held in Sinnadampan

Village development discussion organized by Vavuniya North Pre-School Development Organization and Nedunkerni Development and Rehabilitation Organization was held Thursday at 2 pm at the Sinnadampan Common Hall, sources said. Pre School teachers, Director of Social Welfare and other officials visited several households in Sinnadampan to discuss issues specific to the households between 8.30 am and noon before the general meeting.

Assistant co-ordinator for Tamils Rehabilitation Organization branch in Vavuniya Mr Thas, Nedunkerni Development and Rehabilitation Organization (NDRO) co-ordinator Mr S Vijayakumar, Vavuniya North LTTE's Vavuniya North Politcal Wing Mr Gnanavel, Head of Vavuniya North Administration Division Mr Kugan, Sinnadampan School Principal Mr A Thanaraj, Ms S Metilda and several other public service officials participated in the meeting.

Issues related to the importance of pre-school education, development issues of village children, activities related to promoting savings, assistance and support of parents in children's education and other issues were discussed in the meeting.

Members for a new administrative group for the pre-school education in Sinnadampan were also elected during the meeting, sources said.
