Seven SLA soldiers killed in Jaffna

Seven Sri Lankan Army soldiers were killed and twelve wounded when the Liberation Tigers attacked an army bus in Eluthumadduval in the Jaffna peninsula today, said sources.

The Tigers is said to have fired mortars from a tree, said sources is Jaffna.

However SLA sources in Jaffna said two soldiers were wounded in the attack.

The Army cordoned off and searched the area following the attack.
