Eleven Tigers killed

An Army captain was killed and two soldiers wounded when the Liberation Tigers fired mortars on the Sri Lankan Army base at Elephant Pass base, north of Kilinochchi, last night at around 9.30 p.m., said SLA sources.
The attack was repulsed and the bodies of 11 women Tigers killed in Army's counter attack have been recovered, they said.
Meanwhile the Voice of Tigers (VoT) said in its night broadcast today that 10 Tigers died in an accidental explosion. The radio, however, did not give further details.

7. Potchelvi (Murukesu Rajeswary, Kilinochchi)
8. Nila (Gnanapirakasam Arulmary, Mannar)
9. Sudar (Thankarasa Thayalini, Vanni Vilan Kulam)
10. Santhirika (Pasupathy Parameswary, Jaffna).
