Military trained academic staff parade held in Muttur east

The passing out parade of the first batch of academic staff of schools in the LTTE controlled Muttur east area, who underwent military training as part of the LTTE auxilliary unit, was held Tuesday evening at Sampoor. The unit consisted of ninety two members, sources said.

LTTE Trincomalee area commander Vasanthan lit the flame of sacrifice. Colonel Sornam, LTTE Trincomalee district military commander hoisted the Thamileelam national flag. Colonel Sornam, Mr.Kuyilinpan, Amparai district LTTE political head and Mr.Semmanan, Trincomalee district deputy political head addressed the members of the auxilliary force.

Principals and education officials delivered speeches congratulating the new recruits, sources said

Last August the passing out parade of the first batch of 120 civilians who underwent military training was held in Ganeshapuram in Muttur east.
