Students graduate from Kilinochchi English Language College

Second batch of twenty three students who completed the Diploma course at the Kilinochchi English Language College were awarded graduation certifications by Head of LTTE Political Wing, S P Thamilchelvan in a ceremony held at the Tamil Rehabilitation Organization's (TRO's) secretariat Monday 10 a.m., sources said.

Director of TRO, Lawrence Christie made the welcome speech at the event presided by the Director of the English Language College, Mr S Nalan.

Head of LTTE Education Section, Baby Subramaniam, also attended the event.

The English College is being funded by the TRO and the curriculam is designed to produce educators to fulfil the dearth of English teachers in the NorthEast, College officials said.
