Grenade attack on SLA sentry in Jaffna

A Sri Lanka Army (SLA) sentry post near Sivan temple on the KKS road in Jaffna town was attacked with a hand grenade, around 7.30 p.m., Friday, Jaffna Police said. No casualities were reported.

The attackers, riding a motorcycle lobbed a grenade on the sentry post, Police sourcess said.

The troops cordoned off and searched the area. However, no arrests were made, according to the sources.
